SAVE 20% ON OUR FAVOURITE WHEELS

Over the coming weeks we want to recognise some of the incredible people we have working at HUNT Wheels and offer some insight into what they do here, the bikes they own and most importantly, the HUNT wheels they ride and why they chose them. HUNT Crew Selects shares our personal favourite wheels and spreads the love by offering them to you at 20% - for a very limited time only.

What riding do you do?

Mixed surface. In Los Angeles, you tend to have to ride a few miles to get to gravel so my riding tends to be quite a bit of road before I get to dirt and then it's miles of fire road double track.

Tell us about a ride, race or event you've done that you really enjoyed or are proud of?

I've recently reached a stage in my cycling career where I'm taking a break from racing but a ride I'm most recently proud of was with no training but riding 6 hours a week I did a 205km ride with some friends a few months back. It was the first properly hot day we had in LA and with 11000ft of climbing everyone cracked at some point but pulled each other back from the brink. It was a full 10hr day on the bike but so much fun and many memories/ice creams were had.

Tell us about a ride, race or event you've done that you really enjoyed or are proud of?

I was super fortunate and rode SBT GRVL in Steamboat Springs last summer, it's a big day out on the bike which felt like you'd been on a big adventure, the terrain and scenery is stunning and the event is basically a bike riding gravel festival with loads of events going, it's also super inclusive, all the way from elite riders to first timers riding the events which range from 36.5 miles to 143miles for the black course.
