READER'S RIDE | PETE'S MASON BOKEH IN ADVENTURE MODE
Hunt co-founder and new bikepacking convert, Pete Marchment has transformed his already versatile Mason Bokeh to be suited for his shorter two to three-day bikepacking escapades.
For Pete, his Mason is a standard affair with a SRAM Force 1x groupset and Deda components. But don't think that this is a compromise. It means Pete is easily able to transform his bike from a fast all day road option to an adventure rig by simply swapping out his 30Carbon Aero Disc wheels to his SuperDura Dynamo Disc wheels.
The components including his bar/stem/post/saddle used between his two different 'versions' are perfectly suited to either application. As for tyres and pedals in 'Adventure' mode, Pete opts for the slightly more off-road version of a set of knobby Panaracer Gravelkings (in tan-wall of course!) and a set of ultra-reliable Shimano SPDs.
For lighting duties, Pete chooses the Exposure Revo Dynamo specific light. All of this is bolted onto the lush worthy Mason Bokeh in Element Grey.
