With the release of our latest generation enduro wheels, the HUNT Enduro V3 and HUNT Proven Carbon Enduro V3 with H_Core, we have introduced plenty of great new features. Perhaps the biggest update comes from the very core of the wheelset themselves, the hub!

The H_Ratchet 40T XL DBL hub is packed full of details that make this our best mountain bike hub set to date. As the name suggests, our new hub moves to a lighter-weight ratchet design, in this case, a stepped double 40T ratchet system providing 9 degrees of engagement. The double ratchet system uses a larger inboard ring with a larger surface area to spread loads evenly meaning a stronger, lighter and more durable interface.

In addition to the new ratchet design, the hub uses an oversized, 15mm-17mm stepped axle design to resist bending forces when ridden hard, leading to a longer bearing life. Plus, we've upgraded to Enduro branded ABEC5 sealed cartridge bearings to ensure maintenance is kept to a minimum.

Our fully sealed hub design, featuring both conical and labyrinth seals, keeps water, dirt and grime outside the hub and away from bearings for ultra-smooth action even after the wettest of seasons.
