READER'S RIDE: PETE'S MASON RESOLUTION

Co-founder of Hunt, Pete Marchment recently pulled the pin to bling up his 4Season rig. The result is this super dialled Mason Resolution. 

There is not much on here you would not want on a bike ready for duty in the wet and cold. A SRAM Red eTap groupset was the first thing to be bolted on. No longer does Pete have to worry about cables being contaminated with grit or grime and the shifting is always super crisp. Other smaller details are the Fabric saddle and Deda components.

The wheelset on this bike have a back story. This is the 38Carbon Aero Disc. That's right, it's a little deeper than our exisiting 30Carbon Aero Disc. After spending time real world testing and looking at where these wheels were being ridden, we felt that a shallower (and wider) rim was more beneficial for its intended purpose. It's only a small change but one we felt was necessary. Rather than part with the wheels (after all there is nothing wrong with them) Pete has left them on his rig... after all that little bit of aero advantage might help him up in the notoriously flat Cambridgeshire lanes!
