Brass is strong and corrosion resistant plus it has self-lubricating properties to prevent issues that can arise from grit and salt on the winter roads corroding the threads in alloy nipples. As well as the standard square body we chose nipples with a double square head so you can achieve precise tensioning with better tool fitment. </i>

With a reworked higher strength carbon layup, wide 25mm internal rim dimension and all-new ratchet hubset, this updated wheelset is ready for wide tires and whatever surface your gravel riding encounters. Light and responsive enough to race, durable enough to explore.

The new HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hub system was designed specifically for durability and high torque loads, with increased engagement contact area. Brass nipples and Pillar triple butted spokes round out the handbuilt package. Whether it’s a rocky and rooty singletrack loop, a party-pace mixed-surface adventure, or your next 100-mile gravel race, this is our do-it-all gravel upgrade wheelset.

These PSR J-bend spokes feature the 2.2 width at the spoke head providing more material in this high stress area. The nipples come with a square head so you can achieve precise tensioning. Combining these components well is key which is why all Hunt wheels are hand-built.</i>
